Admissions

In September 2018 we will become St Mary's Primary school with the capacity to admit 120 pupils to Year 3 in September 2018. Years 4,5 & 6 will remain at 90 pupils per year group, but each academic year this will increase to 120 pupils as the Year 3 pupils admitted in September move up a year.

2017 Information

We welcome applications from all parents living in the local area.  We have an Open Morning on November 21st and an Open Evening on 22nd November, where you are able to look around the school and our Admissions Governor will be available to give you information about the admissions process.  These dates will be advertised on the School calendar and invitation letters are given to parents from our three most local infant schools, Downs Way, Limpsfield and St Peters Tandridge.  However, if you wish to organise a separate visit, please contact the School Office and we will gladly organise this for you.  You are also very welcome to contact the Admissions Officer in the School Office any time with any admissions queries.

All applications for admission into year 3 should be made through the Local Authority from October 30th 2017 - 15th January 2018. You still need to apply to St Mary's Junior School as we are not officially St Mary's Primary School until next September.

In order to gain admission to St. Mary's School part way through the school year parents can contact the school, but we do use the services of Surrey County Council and the relevant form can be found on their website (see the link below) .  We do operate a waiting list at the school and parents are welcome to phone us and find out where they are on the list.  All parents also have the right to go to appeal if they do not gain a place for their child at the school.  Again this is done by applying direct to the appeals service at Surrey County Council.

If you are applying for a place under church allegiance you can download the form below or contact the school and we will send you a supplementary form.

In the meantime, please click on the link below to read our Admissions Policy which gives you all the information about the criteria for gaining a place for your child at this School and all the relevant dates for application forms.

For applications into Reception for September 2018 you still need to apply to Downs Way School via Surrey County Council from October 30th.
